Christian Worldview Course-Material available

Prof. Priyan Dias (Head of Dept. Civil Engineering, University of Moratuwa) a parishioner of  St. Pauls’ Milagiriya church, conducted a series of studies as part of a course aimed at assisting Christians to build a biblical worldview, with which they can engage the world and the choices they make.

The first 4 parts of the study found in the first presentation, conducted over 4 weeks, presents the doctrinal/biblical background for the formation of this worldview. The second presentation consisting of 3 parts deals with an application of this framework to 3 general areas of any Christians life. (Work, Lifestyle and Marriage/Singleness)

This biblical framework has been in use among Christians for generations. But a presentation of this, in such a format which is still in testing, was formulated by Prof. Priyan as part of his discussions with the FOCUS staff team. It is the hope of Prof. Priyan and FOCUS that mature Christians will adapt the material, and present it to their churches to stimulate maturity and discussion among the wider body of Christ.
